Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and
empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.

Mission Statement

Led, inspired and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, Lake Michigan Presbyterian Women seek to:

WORSHIP our living God through Prayer and Praise;

STUDY the Bible and other materials to strengthen our faith and deepen our understanding;

bulletSUPPORT the Mission of the Church locally, regionally and worldwide giving our time, energy and financial support;
bulletACT for peace and justice with Christian concern for those in need;
bulletDEVELOP and use our gifts to the Glory of God;
bulletCOMMUNICATE with one another by listening and talking, through learning and teaching, as we enjoy working and sharing together;
bulletCREATE a loving, Christian COMMUNITY that affirms and empowers each individual within its fellowship.
